UKGuarantor who will be a data processor if you have selected this service and CRM Students Limited will be a data processor providing financial administration such as rental payment processing, notices for rental payments and rental collections.  However, we will retain control of your data and any third party service provider that we use must act in accordance with our instructions.

We may also share your personal information with a purchaser or potential purchaser of our business.

In some circumstances, we may have to disclose your personal information by law, because a court or the police or other law enforcement agency has asked us for it.

If at any point you suspect or become aware of a security incident (e.g. your password for accessing your registered account on this website is stolen or you receive suspicious communication from someone holding themselves out to be a Hello Student employee or from a dupe website claiming to be affiliated with Hello Student), please forward the communication to us or report the incident by email to questions@hellostudent.co.uk as soon as possible.

Our website or marketing email messages sometimes include links to other third party websites which are not within our control. Once you have left our website/marketing email message, we cannot be held responsible for the content of these third party websites or the protection and privacy of any information which you provide to those websites. The Health Assured support line is a separate service offered to students of the Accommodation Provider – Hello Student. Health Assured provides a confidential service and the information you discuss with their helpline support workers is confidential unless your health, wellbeing or welfare is judged to be at imminent risk. In these circumstances and where Health Assured considers you need additional support, they will seek your consent to share your name and information about their concerns with Hello Students Counselling and Mental Health service so that they can provide you with further help. In some circumstances where you are not able to provide consent or where you refuse consent, Health Assured may still decide to share relevant information with Hello Students where it is necessary to protect your or another person’s vital interests. Where there is immediate risk to yourself or others, Health Assured may contact emergency services to the protect your vital interests and shall inform the accommodation grounds if required to facilitate access to the emergency services. This approach is consistent with Hello Student Emergency Contact Statement which you agreed to at registration.
