All Hello Student properties are boutique in size, we’ll never offer you a room in a huge, soulless student hall…..as that’s just not our definition of a home! We offer a selection of studios, so  you can choose to live by yourself in your own self contained space. Or opt for a shared apartment –  move in with a ready formed friendship group or make new friends and choose to live with others in your own ‘social bubble’.

We’ve had to move to virtual viewings but there are number of ways in which we can show you your new home. Just let us know what works best for you and we’ll do out best to accommodate it. If you want to view with a friend or your parents, and in your in different locations, that’s not a problem as we can arrange a group virtual viewing for you.

Booking early gives you access to better prices and the best rooms. However, we do understand booking right now may feel uncertain, so we’d like to give you peace of mind when you do.

If you’re arriving from overseas, you will be asked to self isolate for the first 14 days of your stay. To support you  – we will make sure your room is deep cleaned and available and can help facilitate food and any other necessities to be delivered to ensure safe isolation. Just let us know how we can help.

Our teams have, and will continue, to conduct additional deep cleaning and disinfection of our buildings and all staff will be required to wear masks.  We’ve installed Perspex screens at our reception desks – where we haven’t got room in the office to keep a safe social distance and marked out social distancing lines. We’ve also introduced sanitisers at every entrance to our buildings.

In addition, we’ve come up with  new ways for parcels to be delivered, implemented a new booking process for the use of study rooms and gyms within office hours – so that we can clean between each use, and placed restrictions on the number of people that can use a lift at any one time, by encouraging people to use stairs where possible. Social distancing fire alarm drills are also in place keeping both our residents and our building’s safe.

We’re opening up any outdoor social spaces we have by continuing to observe the 2 metre social distancing rule, and when it’s safe to do so our indoor social spaces and cinemas will reopen with a full cleaning schedule in place.  This may be different to what you’re used to but we’re still committed to  building a strong sense of community and ensuring that both your physical and mental wellbeing are taken care of.  Our social events have moved online and we’re closely following the government guidelines and restricting the number of guests that can visit. All our rooms have high speed broadband included in the rent, perfect for online lectures and staying connected on video calls.  If you’ve chosen to live in a shared apartment or townhouse, then you’ll be able to socialise with those in your household

We’re introducing all of these measures to help keep you safe, and everything we’re doing is based on the latest government and Public Health guidance.
