Booking student accommodation with friends is a straightforward process with Hello Student. You can browse our website to find the perfect accommodation that suits your group’s needs and preferences. Once you’ve identified a suitable location, you can either book online, call or email our friendly team, or even pop into our office to have an in person viewing.
Effective communication is key when booking student accommodation with friends. Discuss your preferences, budget, and any specific requirements you might have. Hello Student even allows you to indicate your room preferences during the booking process, ensuring we do our best to accommodate your requests, such as living with your friends. Or you can indicate that you would like a ‘double room with a shared bathroom’, for example.
When booking student accommodation as a group, there are a few important considerations to keep in mind. Firstly, ensure that all members of your group are full-time students studying in the UK, as this is often a requirement for shared uni accommodation. Secondly, decide whether you want to pay the rent in full at the beginning of the year or in instalments. If you choose the latter option, you’ll need to provide a guarantor for each person in the group.
Each option is bespoke to the individual student. To make a group booking just email the team and let them know the names of the people you would like to live with and we will do the rest! Our team will match up the names and will then confirm room numbers etc.
Once you’ve completed the booking process, Hello Student will send you an offer of accommodation. You’ll then need to complete further details, create your resident account, verify your identity, and sign your tenancy agreement. Remember, these steps must be completed within five days, so make sure you have your photo ID handy. And don’t worry; Hello Student won’t ask for any upfront costs or deposits, making the process even more hassle-free. What’s more, we even throw in free contents’ insurance.
