Liverpool is undeniably one of the world’s great cities.
Famous for its role as the British Empire’s prized port town, the waterfront is king. In fact, it’s a UNESCO world heritage site.
Music is kind of a big deal, too. It’s the birthplace of the Beatles. AKA, the birthplace of Pop. And the whole city is still alive with music. The Cavern Club, where the Beatles started, hosts around 40 live bands a week. There’s also Concert Square, with its mix of mega-clubs, cocktail bars, and themed watering holes.
Hungry after all that music? You’ll want something to eat. The coveted Lark Lane is a foodie playground, and a stone’s throw away from the student boroughs. Escape the hustle and bustle to enjoy a relaxed dinner with friends.
And finally, sport. You can’t talk about Liverpool without talking about sport. The city’s home to two of football’s fiercest rivals: Liverpool and Everton. All you have to decide is: Red or Blue?
Sounds good, doesn’t it? We’ll see you in ‘The Pool’.
