Show off your Hello Student life! Create, submit, and you could get a £25 voucher AND be featured on Hello Student socials!
Want to create User- Generated-Content for Hello Student, get rewarded and add experience to your CV? We’ve got you.
We’re looking for you – We’re looking for students who want to bring the Hello Student living experience to life on our English and Chinese social platforms, whether that’s a vlog, a TikTok trend relating to HS life, or a room tour – we want to see it.
Get rewarded – Each month, we’ll be selecting our fav pieces of content that’s the most creative and engaging, to feature on our Hello Student social channels – We’ll also reward you with a £25 voucher of your choice when you’re picked!
Our goal – Showcase life at Hello Student and highlight the amazing experiences our students enjoy. By sharing these stories, we want other students to discover what makes our accommodation special and inspire them to join us too!
It’s totally flexible – You can create as much or as little content as you’d like. Give it a go – it might just be the best thing you ever did, and the experience that makes the difference applying for roles after uni!

How does it work?
Make content for Instagram and TikTok:
Firstly, make sure you’re following us – it’s a little awkward if you aren’t 😉
1.Create your content
- Make fun, original content, either video or carousel posts about your life in Hello Student accommodation.
- The content must relate to Hello Student accommodation or be visible in the background (sat in your uni room / social spaces etc)
- You don’t need to post it on your own socials, just create it!
2. Send it over to us
It would be great for you to send us your content in 2 versions. This is so we know how you’d want your content to look, and we can upload it to be as optimised as possible to the social platforms.
- Content without any text/captions
- Content with text and captions if applicable.
Once you have your content ready…
- Send your content via WeTransfer to: social@hellostudent.co.uk
- Attach your edited video or carousel images
- Include in the message:
- Your name
- The student accommodation you live in
- Your Insta @username and/or TikTok @username
- Caption for your content
- Sound name (specific)
And that’s it, you’ve submitted your content! You’ll hear back from us if you’re content is selected. Remember, you can send us as much content as you’d like.
3. Bonus feature opportunity
- Want to grab our attention faster? Post your content on your own platform using #HelloStudentLife and tagging us! Then, just DM us the post.
We love seeing your creativity and will notice these posts more!
4. Monthly selection & rewards
- Each month, our team selects our top posts.
- Winners are chosen based on creativity and how engaging the post is.
- Each winner will be messaged via DM (using your preferred social @username you provided) and will receive (via email) a £25 digital voucher of their choice
- Winning content is featured on Hello Student social profiles, crediting your @username (optional)

2. Submit proof
- DM us a screenshot or link to your post.

Get selected
- Each month, our team views all content using the #HelloStudentLife and will pick our favourites based on creativity and engagement.
4. Send your content
- If you’re selected, you’ll be contacted via DM and asked to send us the original content file (video/image) so we can post it on our Hello Student profiles.
5. Get rewarded
- Once we receive your content, we’ll send you a £25 digital voucher of your choice. (sent via email)
- Your content will also be featured on Hello Student social profiles, crediting your @ username, giving you recognition and exposure!
