Getting around Sheffield

Sheffield is compact, walkable and cycle-friendly, so getting from lectures to the city centre is quick and easy.

Public transport is simple too. The Supertram runs across key parts of the city, including Sheffield Station and the Cathedral, and buses like the 10a and 52 connect campuses with student hotspots. If you’re 18–21, you can also take advantage of discounted travel passes to keep costs down.

Ecclesall Road 

Around a mile and a half from our properties, Ecclesall Road is packed with independent cafés, restaurants and bars. From relaxed brunch spots to award-winning dining, it’s a go-to for students who love variety, and it’s right by the Botanical Gardens too.

City Centre

With over 500 shops, cafés, restaurants and cultural spots to explore, Sheffield’s city centre is always buzzing. All three of our properties are less than half a mile away, meaning you’re only minutes from everything on foot or by bike.

Broomhill

Just over a mile from our locations and close to the University of Sheffield, Broomhill has a more laid-back, neighbourhood feel. Known for its historic charm and independent shops, including one of South Yorkshire’s largest independent record stores, it’s ideal if you prefer a quieter vibe.

Within my four years here at the University, this is my favourite accommodation. Our apartment is walking distance to the university and city centre, the team is very welcoming and helpful, and the facilities of the apartment…you just can’t beat that. I’m gutted that I no longer will be a student so I can’t stay here
