Where to start? London has everything: world-famous sights, world-class restaurants, brilliant pubs and bars.
It’s not really a city. It’s dozens of cities, each with a unique feel.
In Camberwell, you’re in the heart of South London, surrounded by music venues, brunch stops and parks. It’s buzzing and beautiful. Head west for Brixton, home to many of London’s best new restaurants. To the east lies Peckham – achingly cool.
Central London is a few minutes’ Tube ride away. Which means the world’s greatest museums – most of them free – are within easy reach.
What else? Since the 2012 Olympics, sport in the city has taken a step up. It’s easy to try everything, from football to fencing. Head to Box Hill or Epping Forest for an off-the-beaten-track cycle ride.
Last but not least, it’s a great place to shop, whether you’re looking for the latest high street fashion (Westfield or Oxford Street), vintage clothing (Brick Lane) or something a little more unusual (Camden).
What’s London like? It’s like nowhere else on Earth.
