Our Refer A Friend offer is available for all our students with a 27/28 booking in any Hello Student building.

Refer a friend for the 2027/28 academic year and you’ll both earn £250 when you move in and make your first payment.

The referee must be a new customer with no prior bookings.

You can refer multiple friends and earn up to your total tenancy amount.

The referrer must have no outstanding debt with Hello Student to receive their payment.

Both students must check in and complete rent payments (first two instalments if paying in four) before they receive their Refer A Friend payments.

The referrer must ensure the referee submits the referral code when they book their room via the website, to link accounts.

Offer valid from 28th October 2026 and may be withdrawn at any time.

Both bookings need to be at least 40 weeks to qualify.

If either party cancels their booking, the offer is void.

This offer cannot be combined with any other incentive.

This offer expires on 30th September 2027.

Once the above conditions have been met, the incentive will be paid via a credit to the account by the end of 2027.

Rebook with us in the same room on another 51-week tenancy for 2027/28 and we’ll give you a free week stay between tenancies (to bridge the gap when one tenancy ends and the new tenancy starts). This offer only applies if you rebook the same room on a 51-week or more tenancy agreement, within the 10-day Rebooker window.

Eligible customers who book a room with Hello Student at the properties noted below in Appendix 1 between 28 October 2026 and 31 July 2027 (the “Booking Period”) for the 2027/28 academic year (the “Relevant Academic Year”) will (subject to these Terms and Conditions) be guaranteed the lowest weekly rate for their room.

What’s the offer?

Subject to these Terms and Conditions, existing customers who book a room with Hello Student in any property for the Relevant Academic Year will be guaranteed the lowest weekly rate for their room. Should the advertised weekly rate of rooms available to book on Hello Student’s website (https://www.hellostudent.co.uk/) of the same room type, room classification and tenancy length in the same property of the room booked drop below that of the booked rate, Hello Student will reduce the booked weekly rate to that of the lower advertised weekly rate.

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for the Offer, you need to:

Book a room directly with Hello Student for a minimum 39 week tenancy; and,

book your room directly with Hello Student, a Hello Student Agent or via the Hello Student Mini Program during the Booking Period; and,

provide a valid email address and a valid phone number as part of completing the booking.

You will not be eligible for the Offer if:

your booking is a short stay, semester stay or your booking has a start date of 28 August 2027 or earlier, even if for 39 weeks or over; and / or,

you are in arrears or have otherwise been in breach of your current tenancy at any time during your tenancy; and / or,

you have booked your tenancy through a university or higher education institution (including, for the avoidance of doubt, any made pursuant to Nominations Agreements); and / or,

you have booked a room with Hello Student prior to the Booking Period (for the avoidance of doubt, for rooms booked prior to the Booking Period a change of room during the Booking Period will not create eligibility for the purposes of the Offer); and / or,

your booking has not moved to complete in the Hello Student system by 7 August 2027.  

The comparable lower rate room is of a different booking type and / or room type, and / or room classification, and / or tenancy length to the booked room. 

You will only qualify to receive the Guarantee once your booking status for the Relevant Academic Year has been moved to complete in Hello Student’s systems. 

For your booking status to move to complete, your tenancy agreement must have been completed in accordance with its terms. Similarly, your Guarantor’s agreement must also have been completed in accordance with Hello Student terms.

If I’m eligible, how will I receive my reduced rate?

The reduced rate will be applied to your 27/28 booking as a rent adjustment, reducing the amounts due on each of the rent instalment dates. If you have already fully paid for your 27/28 booking with Hello Student then the rent due variance will be refunded either to your nominated UK bank account or, if you do not have a UK bank account, the card used to pay for your booking. If neither are available, we will contact you to obtain the relevant bank details to process the refund to.

Any amendments made to your booking after the Offer ends will invalidate the Offer.

The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion.

Hello Student reserves the right to remove or change this promotional offer at any time.

• This group booking offer is available for selected shared accommodation and Studios in Hello Student for 26/27 bookings.
• Book with friends for shared accommodation or when booking studios in the same building and receive increasing rewards for each additional friend.

 

The group incentive value is determined by both:

• The number of students in the booking group, and
• The tenancy length selected
• The incentive amount is awarded per person, not per group.

• Group of 2: £250 per person
• Group of 3: £350 per person

• The group needs to sign up at the same time to qualify, with reservations made within 5 days.
• Bookings need to be at least 44 weeks to qualify, or at least 42 weeks in Nottingham.
• All students must check in and complete rent payments (first two instalments if paying in four) before they receive their payments.
• Offer valid from 5th February 2026 and may be withdrawn at any time.
• If any of the group cancel their booking, the incentive received by the remaining group members will be reduced accordingly (e.g. if a group of 4 books but only 3 checks in, the 3 students will receive the amount offered for a group of 3).
• This offer cannot be combined with any other offer or incentive.
• Once the above conditions have been met, the incentive will be paid via a credit to the account by the end of 2026.
• Only applicable for the following cities: Exeter, Falmouth, Leeds, Nottingham, St Andrews, York.
• The offer is not available for students booking via an agent.

• This cash back offer is available at specified times for selected accommodation in Hello Student for 25/26 bookings.
• Bookings need to be at least 44 weeks to qualify. 
• Student must check in and complete rent payments (first two instalments if paying in four) before they receive their payment. 
• Offer valid for bookings started and signed between 1st April 2025 to 30th April 2025. 
• This offer may be withdrawn at any time. 
• This incentive cannot be combined with any other offers. 
• Once the above conditions have been met, the incentive will be paid via a credit to the account by the end of 2025. 

• This refer a friend offer is available for all our students living within any Hello Student building.
• Refer a friend for the 2025/26 academic year and earn £250 when they move in and make their first payment.
• The referee must be a new customer with no prior bookings.

• Both students must check in and complete rent payments (first two instalments if paying in four) before they receive their RAF payments.
• The referrer must ensure the referee submits the referral ID to link accounts.
• Offer valid from 15/02/2025 and may be withdrawn at any time.
• The referee must submit the referral code within 7 days of completing their booking
• Both bookings need to be at least 40 weeks to qualify
• The referee must book using the same email provided in the referral.
• If either party cancels their booking, the offer is void.
• This offer cannot be combined with any group booking discount.
• The form will close by the end of 30th September 2025
• Once the above conditions have been met, the incentive will be paid via a credit to the account by the end of 2025.
• Refer a friend cannot be redeemed with any other offer.

Terms

• Offer valid only for new bookings for the 2026/27 academic year  
• Minimum tenancy length applies – 44 weeks or more  
• The Hello Bundle incentive can be withdrawn by Hello Student at any time 
• This bundle is valid for bookings made on or after 20th April 2026 and before 12th August 2026. 
• If the tenancy is cancelled, all incentives will be withdrawn  
• This incentive cannot be combined with any other offers. 

Laundry  

• Students on a 51-week tenancy will receive 44 wash/dry cycles.  
• Students on a 44-week tenancy will receive 34 wash/dry cycles.  
• Upon check-in, each student will need to provide their phone number to receive a unique laundry code. 
• This code will activate the laundry credit via the Circuit Laundry App and is valid until the end of January.  
• From the end of January, a new top-up code will be available. Students can collect this from reception.  
• Each laundry code is unique to the individual and must not be shared.  
• Shared or misused codes may result in deactivation of laundry access.  
• Any unused laundry credit from the first code will expire at the end of January.  
• The second credit allocation must be used by the end of the student’s tenancy (check-out date).  
• Laundry credit does not roll over and cannot be refunded or exchanged.  
• Eligibility is subject to the student remaining up to date with all rent payments 

Tram Pass and Voucher 

• The Tram Pass and Voucher offer is available at specified times for selected accommodation in Hello Student for 26/27 bookings.  
• The Tram Pass is supplied by Tramlink Nottingham and are valid for the full academic year 1/9/2026 31/7/27
  • Once codes have been activated, they can’t be cancelled and re-issued to another person.
  • Any codes that have not been used are not transferable to the following year, and are none refundable.
  • All discount codes must be activated by the 31^st of October.
  • The tram serves all major locations across the city.
  • Your pass will entitle you to unlimited travel for the duration of your pass, including weekends and evenings, 364 days of the year.
  • You’ll need to download the free NETGO! App (via Apple and Android stores).

The voucher is a £100  ‘Lifestyle Voucher’ that includes top retailers and restaurants. A digital code will be sent via email. 

Once the above conditions have been met, the Tram Pass & Voucher will given by 31st October 2026.
